Logan's War and The President's Man both would've made great TV shows.

Yes, I think so too. What would the plot have been about? Logan on the run, kickng criminals along the way? lol It almost sounds like The Fugitive, lol. But year, it would've made a good Tv series.

Wish me luck and maybe one day you'll be talking about something I created on here.

I assume this was intended to be a TV series with the way the story ended- but guess this TV movie was unsuccessful and had very low ratings keeping that from happening.

Yes, it's definitely could have been a TV series.

And it might have, had its producers given it a stronger setup. That, and a title which doesn't invite confusion with BLOOD IN, BLOOD OUT and with LOGAN'S RUN.

Like if...

1. With exceptions few and far between, nobody ever heeds Logan's premonitions; never mind that they're always correct. Hey, now there's a title which would've been not only catchy but fresh: THE CASSANDRA PROJECT (assuming we're all familiar with Cassandra of Troy).

2. The Army decides to use Logan for a guinea pig, so that they can duplicate his ability to foresee danger and create - stop me if you've heard this one - a new breed of super-soldier. Logan ends up going AWOL to avenge his family, which ultimately results in his being hunted by not one but three sides of the law (the police, the mob, and the military).

3. Logan's ruse - he goes to work for his family's killer - fools not only the bad guys but also the feds...including the cop who's been investigating the Fallon murders for the past two decades.

4. Logan's vendetta becomes increasingly complicated. First, he falls in love with the beautiful daughter of his quarry. Then her family engages a rival mob clan in a turf war, which Logan is dragged into. *Then* Logan finds his sister, still alive after all these years - only she's been adopted by the rival mob family he's being forced to wage war against. Even worse, she's psychic as well...she just uses her talent for selfish purposes, like making big money gambling.

5. Finally, there is a bloody showdown in which most of the gangsters and many of the police are killed - as is Uncle Jake, who sacrifices his life to save Logan's. Although Logan escapes the feds who've come to arrest him, unfortunately, so does his sister; she takes over the remains of both mafia families, and puts a murder contract out on her brother. Logan becomes a drifter, still wanted by the mafia as well as the government; he even has to spy on Jake's funeral from a distance. Shades of LES MISERABLES/THE FUGITIVE...

I always thought that this one and "The president's man" were TV movies released as pilots for upcoming TV series!
