Amazing how Hollywood can make a movie in which guns are a central part, yet not a single person with a gun appears to be vaguely rational and stable.

No matter how anti-gun you are, this is akin to making a movie set in Harlem with only white people starring in it. It's preposterously stupid.

The vast majority of gun owners are stable, rational people, not lunatic nutjobs likely to shoot someone on the slightest cause. This is borne out by, what, 700 million hand guns, 300 million people, and something like 10000 murders with guns a year... and if you exclude the "high risk" types -- gang bangers, cops, and drug dealers -- that number goes down far more.

Your automobile is far more dangerous to own than a gun.
