Gilligan's Island reference wtih different actor

LOL Thurston Howell..played by not the already-dead Jim Backus (1913-1989) but another famous character who never even appeared in that show, Henry Gibson..I wonder if fact that prod.co. New Line Cinema's parent Warners owned Gilligan (through Turner Broadcasting;the show was done by (an anonymous) Phil Silvers (credited special guest*)'s Gladysa**, United Artists Television, and Studio City.

*Silvers was in the famed Season 3 "Harold Hecuba" episode, titled "The Producer".
**Gladysa was Mr.Silver's (1911-1985)'s famous catchline.:)
(Though Phil didn't produce his several several, the iconic BILKO/PHIL SILVERS SHOW/YOU'LL NEVR GET RICH or NEW PHIL SILVERS SHOW, raido-TV producer's Nat Hiken produced those.._
