Jason Donovan.

Gary Bond (1972)
Paul Jones (1970's)
Mick Robertson (1970's)
David Easter (1978/9 christmas season)(also played Pharaoh, and understudied Joseph for Jason Donavan in 1991).

Phillip Schofield played him after Jason Donovan in the 90's, and Darren Day played him after that. Other Joseph's I know of are: Gareth Gates, Stephen Gately, Lee Mead and Glenn Carter.

Also H from Steps played him in The New London Theatre in 2004.

I first saw it on stage in Glasgow in 1983 - for those Brits of a certain age, do you remember Watch! on schools TV? Joseph was played by James Earl Adair who was one of the presenters of that!

Can't remember who was in the lead in Glasgow in 2000, then I saw Craig CHalmers in the role in Leeds a couple of years ago.

I did find this link when I was trying to remember the name of the guy from Watch! though!
