disturbing episode

I haven't seen this show since 7 or 8 years ago at least. The strangest most disturbing episode I ever saw was when I was at work at wendy's and it came on. It had a part similar to the movie deliverance. Some characters were canoeing down a river and another canoe pulled up with some of the other characters. One character was playing a bango and was even playing the same song from deliverance. They said something about squealing like a pig and the characters in the first canoe got all freaked out and started paddling really fast saying I don't want to squeal like a pig. I don't remember everything from that episode seeing as it was so long ago but I remember running out of the break room laughing my bottom off cause it was so unbeleivable having a referance to such a movie on a kids cartoon. I know kids wouldn't get it but still.

Wasn't this also on a Tiny Toon's five-part episode?

I wish more children's cartoons were like this nowadays. It makes it entertaining for everone, not just the kids.

I loved this show when I was younger, but I like it even more now that I get references I never got when I was younger.

Rocko's Modern Life was full of innapropriate things and other innuendo. But I'd let my kids watch it when I ahve some. They laughs at the things they're supposed to laugh at, I laugh at the things they're not supposed to understand yet.

Kids shows nowadays are just to tame. I want more shows like Rocko's Modern Life, Ren and Stimpy, Hysteria and Invader Zim.

have you ever seen animaniacs? same stuff in there all the time, usually followed by Yacko(or is it Wacko?)s famous line "g'night everybody!" now when i watch these shows i get new laughs out of these jokes that i didnt get when i was younger

Yakko was the one who always said that line. Also in Histeria I realize who more of the Historical figures personalities are supposed to be like Sigmund freud as Woody Allen or Nostradamus talking kind of like Jerry Lewis

Actually they referenced this on Rocko's Modern Life, when both Heifer and Rocko go to the gym and Rocko uses the realistic rowing machine. He's going downriver and some hillbilly type guy is sitting on a log and mentions squealing like a pig. Then he grabs a pig and starts tickling it ^_^

They'll love it in Pomona!
