I demand a DVD.

This is one of the most underrated cartoons out there. I demand a DVD. Maybe they can get Animaniacs and Histeria together. That would be fabu.

reply

Or maybe they can add pinky and the brain!!! Narf!!!

reply

Honestly, if there had to be just one show to hit DVD, it would have it to be this one. I L-O-V-E-D this show every morning and afternoon, plus, it taught me a few things haha. Great show...needs reruns on like Cartoon Network or something!

Enjoy The Show

ICH LIEBE HISTERIA! I used to be really sick, and when I was at home, I would sit on the couch and watch. THIS NEEDS A DVD! I, like most others, remeber things I learned. I can still do my Miss Information impression, I still can sing the Tudor family song, and I am still known to run the 'Damn the Torpedoes' scene from the Civil War show. I also am known to randomly say, 'A good bleeding with leeches to suck the devil outta ya!' and 'Mmm-hmmm, that's right. And that's why we're eatin' grass.' Please WB, at least give us our History! Thank You.

reply

I STILL remember things I learned from that show:
Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived

I find myself singing the theme song that was "Nows the time to watch Histeria just like people in bulgaria its a show thats beyond compar-ia Comedy! History! With Imbecility!"

Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind, and therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.

reply

I would definitely buy a dvd...
I read my college texts with that character's really annoying voice, even though I haven't seen the show in so long that I can't remember the character's name! It actually helps me remember the material!

reply

To this day that's how I remember what happened to Henry VIII's six wives!

reply

I agree!!! WE MUST HAVE HISTERIA DVD!!! We wants it my presious!!!

reply

If I had a job at Warner Brothers and had the authority to suggest something, you'd bet your ass I'd say something! But sadly, I'm not. So, IF THERE'S ANY HIGH LEVEL PEOPLE OUT THERE READING THIS POST, MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WOULD BUY HISTERIA ON DVD OR GO SEE HYSTERIA THE MOVIE!

Just think about it, how awesome would Hysteria the movie be?

reply

OH YES! I so remember this show. I remember I really liked it and it would be so perfect on DVD. I am so going to find a place to write to WB and suggest this.

Divorce, Beheaded, Died
Divorce, Beheaded, Survived

reply

I would totally buy this if it came out for DVD. I mean, Loud Kiddington, Father Time, Big Fat Baby! The Vomitorium, Val Hallah viking bar and grill! Priceless, oh good times, good times. I loved that show, and I really did learn stuff. I never did get to see as many episodes as I wanted to. The bigwigs are releasing EVERYTHING on dvd, though, I doubt it will be long before they start on this beloved show. This, Pinky and the Brain, and Animaniacs (and at some points Tiny Toon Adventures) were smart, funny, and most of all just downright silly. There were jokes for kids and adults, and you just wanted to watch more. Who do we write? Who do we call? I want this show to watch over and over again!

For anyone who cares, there is a website, TVShowsonDVD.com, that allows users to nominate and vote for shows they'd like on DVD.
It supposedly works.
Go there and vote!

reply

Ive been voting for a few shows and anyone who posts in a thread like this needs to do the same

reply

Everytime I'm walking around and showing people things I use the Miss Information voice and go "OK people, we're wahlkin, we're wahlkin...." I would buy the DVD for me and for like all my friends (we're college students). Cause I talk about it constantly. I'm just happy that they can watch it now on AOL's in2tv. Now I'll never get any work done! "we're wahlkin...we're wahlkin"

reply

With Pinky and The Brain and Animaniacs coming out...I wouldn't be surprised if Histeria made it out sometime soon

Are you ever right! I have been searching for years now to find any copies of this series, even if done by an individual on ebay.

"ask me if i care" was the best part. i have animaniacs season 1 and my friend has season two and 1 & 2 of pinky and the brain and now all i want for christmas is histeria

reply

I read where 'Freakazoid' is coming out on July 24 (I work in a book/video/music store so I find these out early) so it wouldn't surprise me if Histeria is right behind it.

reply

Any news as to if this awesome is finally coming out on DVD?

The penguins are calling and I can't find my way out of the labyrinth.

reply

Haven't heard anything yet. As I said in another thread, I tried contacting Warner Bros., but even 5 months, later they still have yet to respond.

Warner Bros. didn't even have their annual live chat this year.

reply

In case anyone's wondering, Warner Bros. will be doing their annual live chat on the Home Theater Forum on April 5th. So that would probably be the perfect opportunity to ask about a DVD release of Histeria!

reply

Like I said at another board, I didn't make it to the WB Chat at the Home Theater Forum, but unfortunately, I read that Warner Bros. didn't have any plans at this time to release this show onto DVD.

reply

Any updates on a DVD? You know, WB even pulls it when people put up clips on youtube of this show. It's like they're trying to bury it!

Still zilch as far as I know, it's a real shame though not only was this cartoon very funny but it also was pretty educational too.

It's coming, only as a Warner Archive exclusive though. I'm excited as hell, anyway. After this, all of Ruegger's WB cartoons will have gotten a DVD release (Taz-Mania and Tiny Toons are still incomplete in parts).
