OK, I think we all know this is a pretty dire movie (fun, nonetheless)

However, I'm sure we can all find some pretty obvious plotholes....

Why exactly does the killer decide to target virgins? Fair enough, there is a Freddy Kruger slant as he gets the CHILDREN of the parents who raped/refused to believe his mother (what happened to her- did they say?)but why them? Surely just killing their kids would be revenge enough. Ok ok, taking their 'purest' as that is what his mother was before the rape, but it just doesn't wash with me at all.

also, why wait til he was like, 26? it all just seems very sudden. I guess him being a teacher is the answer to how he KNEW the kids were virgins (signalled when he says he knows Jodi and Kenny have broken up) but its still all very implausible.

Also, I don't think anyone, even 27 years prior to the event, would ignore a rape claim with those pathetic responses.

number one, the killing virgins thing. he was detroying the town's innocence because like the town had destroyed his mother's. secondly, he waited until he was 26 because he needed to get the trust of the kids in the town, thus how he knew they were virgins. and lastly, obviously yu've never lived in a small town. jocks are god, live in ohio, you'll see what i mean.
