I LOVED THIS MOVIE! It's not suppose to be taken seriously! It's a farse on all horror films, making fun of the genre. Don't get me wrong, it still has some blood and guts, but-come on!

CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!!

The sex party! The pilling up in the stairs! The slashings! Jay Mohre...a transvestite (practically)! It was brilliant! I havn't been so entertained by a so-called-horror film since...since...hell, Scream. Then again, Scream was in fact a horror film and was actually done pretty damn well.

Cherry Falls is just...fun. A whole lotta fun.

I know what u mean !! i saw the film on t.v. and after i was like wow i really need 2 c that again ! so i brought it !! Love it !

i loved this movie too! i totally agree with you that this movie was brilliant and brittany murphy did a great job acting!

Are you sure it was a farce of the classic horror movie? That's what all directors tend to say after their movies are deemed "awful". Come to think of it, there hasn't been a "serious" horror movie in a while. Hm. Go figure.

I have to agree. I was thoroughly entertained by this movie. Sure it's a B movie, but for a B movie it's one of the best i've seen. At points it was a little absurd but that's what made it good. Definately a guilty pleasure.

I am agree with you.
I saw the movie and I liked it. The soundtrack is wonderful. I want to get the song of the sex party, but I coud not find it in internet.
Do you have this soundtrack? Do you know where can I find it?

Ah I'm so glad there's a thread of appreciation for this genius film! Everyone else is slating it because they didn't understand it! I haven't laughed this hard during a movie for so long. Everything about it was just amazing. Definitely on the must-buy DVD list!

I almost died laughing when Jay Mohr went running out of his house screaming with that wig on. Oh my god and that scene on the stairs was great!
