terra venture and scorpius and 'Not too distant future'

ok wikipedia said it was said by Leo that a lot of the people from Terra Venture are from Angel grove wanting to get away from the Alien and monster attacks, I dont remember when that was said!!!!!!!!! when was it said???? and was that really it? Why did Bulk and PRofessor PHenomenus only have 3 apperances and SKull one?

Ok why did Scorpius get killed off so early???????????? why didnt he come back?

for the "Not too distant future", why did they say that and how long did the first ep take place after Countdown to Destruction?

It does say that, I don't remember the episode, but it does. I have the series and just watched it not too long ago.

Bulk and Phenomenus I have no idea, but Jason Narvy (Skull) wanted to go back to school and get his doctorate in literature so they wrote him out.

Because, IMO, Scorpius wasn't that great, and some people probably preferred that trakeena be the villain. And he was killed, that's why he didn't come back.

And I have no idea.

I am currently watching this series right now and I don't remember anyone saying why they're leaving Earth unless it was a background conversation between background characters.
