The new show is TERRIBLE!
I just saw The brand new Powerpuff Girls. Oy....that's all I can say...oy. It was bad...WORSE than bad! I mean, what can you say when they only got TWO of the original voice actors to come back?! (Roger Jackson as Mojo Jojo and Tom Cane as Professor Utonium) Obviously Ginndy Tartakovsky and Craig McCracken didn't return, and it showed. The show was 100% different! It looked like (and it pains me to say this...) an episode of Adventure Time! It's animated just like that, and the humor.....

Really, the humor was just like that!
It was only a 15 minute show, and they Girls hardly went into battle or solved any crimes!
And don't get me started on how they looked...
Seriously, the Girl's heads were NOT THAT BIG! I know they were supposed to be deformed not-quite-humans cause they were made in a lab and Chemical X was spilled in the taureen, but their heads were NOT that big! And Blossom's bow was twice as big as she is!
But you'd never know they were supposed to be deformed, cause there's no opening narration explaining that! Just a genetic action girls theme.
It had none of the original charm, it didn't have the original opening or closing theme songs, and because this is CN not even the original end credits with Biz. Just the typical credits pushback! I couldn't even read who did the voices of the girls. Buttercup really sounds bad. Like it's a man pretending to be a little girl! They didn't even end it with "Once again the day is saved..."
Overall....this is just a genetic CN show now. Nothing of the original charm, parental bonuses, or charm that that the original show had! And that's because the original creators obviously had no hand in it at all!
Thank GOD the new season of Samurai Jack is on adult swim and thank GOD Ginndy is doing it!! Last thing we need is for THAT to happen to HIM! Can you imagine Adventure Time With Samurai Jack, or Samurai Jack Go!
