I love Thora Hird, as an actress she is magnificent and the partnering of her with Pete Postehwaite in this film was inspirational i could watch it over and over which i do i bought the video when it first came out, i only hope it doesn't wear out..I love the bit when she's puts her house up for sale "hilarious" Ann Reid played a very good part as well..everyone should see this movie..
