Uljanov did not have an affair

I am pretty certain that Uljanov (the man they call Lenin) and Ines Armand have never had an affair. I read the biography of his wife Krupskaja, and she never mentions it. This may not be decisive evidence, but the picture that she gives of Uljanov is. Uljanov devoted his entire life to the military coup against the Tsar. He abolished pleasures like playing chess or skiing, since they distracted him from his ultimate aim in life. His obsession grew with the years, and around 1917 it had completely taken over his personality. To him people had become little wheels in the revolutionary machine. During his walks with Krupskaja, even on holidays and sick calls, he only talked about his plans for the revolutionary policy. I have not seen the film, but the suggestion of an affair casts doubt upon its authenticity. Also the journey by train can hardly be called Uljanovs most interesting experience. In addition, an American film about Russian history is somewhat misplaced. It may be wiser to view the film "Reds".

Hello Lava-Rocks, there are no limits to fantasy. You can even interpret Snowwhite and the seven dwarfs as a sexual orgy. But it is not really likely.
