Practically no info about Irene Weisberg Zisblatt in german media?

First off - I didn't watch the whole documentary yet, but I came to this board cause I've seen excerpts of Irene Weisberg Zisblatt's interviews.

I'm a german who does NOT deny the holocaust at all, but must admit many things Zisblatt said sounded questionable to me.

I heard of her book and watched those clips, wanted to do some research on her and now I'm really confused that she seems like .... non-existent in german media?

No pro, no contra on her, she has no german wikipedia entry, her book doesn't seem to be available here, neither in german nor in english.

I've read a lot of books and testimonies from holocaust victims, I'm really baffled that I can't find ANYTHING about her, she isn't mentioned on any german pages about this subject at all.

This is VERY unusual and I wonder if there is any law suit going on?

Irene Weisberg Zisblatt had been proven to be a liar and her "testimony" in The Last Days as well as her lifetime of Holocaust Speaking tours shown to be a complete fabrication. This presents problems in a country like Germany where any factual statements exposing the myth of the Holocaust are forbidden by law. So when you have a situation like this, the only thing the German press is legally allowed to do is ignore her and pretend she doesn't exist.

Many thanks for your reply!

I fully understand the controversy, but was surprised cause people like Herman Rosenblat, Misha Defonseca and Binjamin Wilkomirski for example are known here in germany, but not so Irene Zisblatt. I didn't know that even factual proven cases of fraud are not allowed to get covered by the media. I see how this makes sense when it comes to assumptions or theories, but this is mighty borderline.
