What did I think of it? I can tell you this- spaghetti western. i thought i was watching "the good, the bad, and the ugly". i won't give anything away providing detail but when golgo is in action, this is what i thought of. you can't watch with subtitles, purely in japanese. i couldn't tell you what it's about cause i didn't understand it except for short japanese phrases you might already know if you watch lots of anime. takakura captures the look in some ways. he sports the golgo look with the sunglasses and wardrobe. thought golgo would be a bigger guy but i guess takakura was the eastwood of japan at the time making him the choice to play. finding this was a huge relief and i'm glad i completed seeing everything of him. i'm sure you will feel the same way, no matter how good or bad the movie will be.
