I kinda liked the music!

Call me a sucker for folksy-popsy 60s tunes, but this soundtrack wasn't so bad to me. You had the "Everything I Touch Turns to Gold" in the beginning (Crow: "What happens when you touch gold?") and of course the ubiquitous "Gold Boots Movin'" theme song that I found myself singing one day in spite of myself, then the one fast song later (where Michelle makes her first appearance with the other dancers) that the bots are jamming to. :)

The only songs that really sucked were the ones Critter was involved with! LOL, great MST3K episode, great cinematic dreck to waste an hour or two on!

i liked the music too! i'm glad i'm not the only one! except that song poor old critter did...whew! the only reason that movie still exists is because of MST guys - thank god!

shtop it! no! my shister!

not true actually. the movie has been released long before mystery science theatre poked fun at it. ted v. mikels has quite a cult following, atleast one that's big enough to have keep the moving in print on and off since it was originally released.

True, it could've been worse. However, "Gold Boots Movin'" being singable doesn't say much -- the melody, with a few exceptions, is just one note! But at least they didn't correct their performances with computers back then... they were content to revel in their own awfulness.

It's true that the song Critter sings in the rain is completely forgettable, but I think "Do You Want to Laugh or Cry" is as good a song as the rest of them.

Oh, no, I'm not tired. But my finger is!

That was the one with the best riffs! The lead singer shaking his head along to the song (Crow: "No, no, maybe it was the furnace kicking in that I heard.") and then the end..."do you want to laugh or cryyyy..." (Crow: "...or look like John Tessssshhhh...")

Do You Want to Laugh or Cry was definitely memorable.

Uber catchy riff in my mind.
