Atentat VS Operation Daybreak

I understand this is a Czech story to tell but I found the 1975 English Film "Operation Daybreak" to be a better narration of this amazing story. A big difference is that OD is 30 minutes longer and in turn provides greater detail about the event. More so OD is in color.

OD has a lower IMDB rating (7.1 from 1151 people) than Atentat (7.5 from 201) ... and I acknowledge that OD was not a great film. I just think it tells the story a little better.

The good news is that a film called Anthropoid is coming out in 2016 that deals with this very subject. Lets hope they don't play lose with the facts or insert a lot of BS romance ... and knock it out of the park as this is a great story!!!

I have just seen Anthropoid and in my opinion Operation Daybreak was better because it was more of a historic military movie whereas, like you warned, Anthropoid had a romance side story. I don't know why they feel that they need to do that to historic movies.
