I remember somewhat of the show and have some of the old tape/storybooks as a child. I also had the caboose w/the figurines. They should bring it back to tv or at least bring back to DVD. Someone should write DIC or whoever owns the rights to the show.
I was a Portia Porcupine fan. She had the little sailor suit and little red bows in her hair. I still have a my stuffed Portia doll but she's missing her roller skates. I can remember the red caboose and the beginning of the song. I agree DIC (if it's still around or if someone has access to the old proverbial vault) should release it on DVD. Shoot I still come across the Littles every once in awhile on a cartoon channel (they were a DIC cartoon too)
WOW! That's cool! I liked Portia as well. My sister used to have a stuffed Portia doll too, and I had a seires of miniature toys they bought out and a coupke of 'book and cassette' story sets that were popular in the 80s...
Someone mentioned that they should bring this back on DVD. However, as I said on another thread, there were plans for that, but unfortunately, the DVD has been cancelled. AG had the final say on the matter and decided not to approve the release.
There may well be valid reasons for not letting the DVD release go ahead as planned, but what seems to be yet another case of "never explain, never apologise" just isn't good enough!
