Unfortunately, his opinion of the show, (Note that the column is titled "POV", in huge, impossible to miss capital letters.), has since been parroted as fact, by people too (EXPLETIVE DELETED) idle to do anything resembling research. ):-(
Anyone at all familiar with "The Get Along Gang" (not just the cartoon) will surely recognise the notion that it's core message amounts to "Mindless Conformity = good, Thinking for yourself = bad" for the twaddle that it is.
