I just finished watcheing season 3 and while the show is always consistently funny, these two moments were laugh out loud, hysterically funny.

Becker: "When I find out who did it, I'll kill them, and I'll do it in front of him so I don't get caught"

and

Patient explaining his back injury: "I was playin basketball.. ok I was watchin basketball.. it was an exciting game and I fell off the couch"

both those moments were pretty unexpected cos the things that happened right before it was funny enough, then they came out with another golden line. Even the studio audience laughed harder than usual cos they really were that funny lol

When Becker came back from the gay cruise. Unfortunately I've only recently seen seasons 1-3 due to no free channels running it anymore and DVDs only up to season 3. I loved how he was towards Linda in that episode though.

Linda: Someday you'll look back on this and laugh.
Dr. John Becker: Maybe I will. But before then, I will kill you. And then I'll use my powers as a physician to bring you back to life. And then, I will kill you again.

Classic.

LOL they're some pretty cool moments. I like when he comes in complaining about being booked for driving down the alley the wrong way, and then the cop books him for not having a review mirror LMAO.

When people thought Becker was on drugs so they call each other and tell that Becker was on drugs.

Linda by mistake calls Becker and tells him you are right, he is on drugs. The way Becker says, "who the hell is this" it was freaking hilarious.

In the court, when the lawyer asks his witness, can you point out the man who did this to you, he does it. Everyone including the Jury will react shocked facial expression, although they all already knew who Becker was. Becker says, "cmon who didn't know that already!!"

It was so funny when he said that.

When Reggie plays tricks on Becker, Becker gets pissed after finding out, so at the Diner Becker swears to Reggie that I dont know how, but I am going to get you back for what you did to me, to Reggie. While he is saying this, Reggie serves him what he ordered which looked like goo, Becker looks at it and says I am going to get you back for this too hahahahhahaha...

I almost pissed my pants after seeing that.

LOL yes that was one of the funniest moments too. I remember that one well :)

Another one is, my favourite episode when Becker receives gourmet Stakes from his patient and they all show up at Beckers house for party, that he didnt agree on.

Chris plays a game and Becker hates it. Chris says, give it some time, this party is getting off to a slow start.

Becker says "Chris!!, Evolution got off to a slow start, this party is dead! lol

Becker tries to enter the diner, an old lady is in front of him walking slowly.

Becker annoyed, Cmon lady!! I've seen continents drift faster than this lol

Becker : Bob!!
Bob : Beaker!! hahaha

Bob: hey Becker, I got an interesting idea
Becker: First one is always exciting isnt it?

Bob: Becker! When I die, will you speak at my funeral?
Becker: Couldn't I just dance?

Becker does Reggie a favor by being her date to prove it to Sara that Reggie isnt a loser. But Sara makes Becker share the entire bill, when he just had a salad and an iced tea.

Next day Becker wants to get even by ordering and eating more, and splitting the cheque, so at the restaurant.

Waiter Paul: I'll give you some time to look over the menus...
Becker : Don't need time, ready now, lets go!
Waiter Paul: May I recommend the filet?
Becker : No you can't, too small, what else you got
Waiter : Well, there's the chateaubriand but that's for two.
Becker : I'll take it!!
Waiter : Okay, how would you like that cooked?
Becker : Quickly!!
Becker : Uh, what do you got in the way of side dishes?
Waiter : Well, we have a wide variety of vegetables and our chef prepares potatoes in six different ways.
Becker : PROVE IT!!

The entire conversation during this dinner between Sara, Becker, Waiter, just perfect and absolutely hilarious!

Yeah that was AWESOME!! Becker says, My motivation comes from pure stupidity lmao

This was a brilliant sitcom with clever situations and lines. God, David Hackel disappeared after this. I hope he puts together a new team and create something similar.

Another favourite is, Exfiles.

Bob found Beckers old high school album and was making fun of of the fact that Becker was in a band and sang Good night sweet heart!

I remember that one. lol that was a good one. One of the funniest all-round episodes was Physician, Heal Thyself. From start to finish that had me in stitches. Regi and Becker argue about crime being up or down, and Becker refusing acupuncture, all topped off by... well even though I'm sure you've seen it I won't ruin the ending for you lol.

I love when Becker is screaming at a person in a diner. He's like "you are a filthy and disgusting slob. I cant stomach my food watching you eat. There's more food on your face than on your plate." Then it shows who's he was talking to and it's a two year old kid. Lol I love you Becker.

I love the episode where Jake plays Scrabble. I also like the episode where Becker tells someone that Chris is a lesbian, the episode where everyone thinks Becker and Chris are sleeping together, the one with the sex-ed lecture, and the one where Becker gives the graduation speech.

When Becker takes the younger woman to Ming's for a date. "Ming" aka Bill is in disbelief that Becker is capable of dating a young, attractive woman. He says to her: "So, what happened, did you have "old man" on your list for the scavenger hunt? "

Dr. John Becker: The Marathon just gets my hopes up. At first it seems like 20,000 idiots are leaving the city, but then they just make a big loop and come right back.

Becker: The world is full of idiots, and someone needs to point it out to them or they will never know.

Becker: Oh great, no cigarettes, the perfect cherry on this crap sundae of a morning.
Jake : I don't see why you don't just quit, John, they're taking years off your life.
Becker: Yeah, but those are the crusty old fart years that you spend just bitching at the world.
Jake : As opposed to this whole Gandhi thing you've got going on now?

Bob: You people have no idea what it's like to be discriminated against!

Becker: Thanks. It's the first time someone suggested I go in that direction.

My all-time favorite moment was when he wanted to get revenge on the woman after splitting the check despite her ordering a lot more food, so they competed to "win" by ordering more than the other.

I also liked the exchange when Linda and Margaret argued over this Thursday/next Thursday.

I also love Becker's rants when he storms into the diner and interrupts an ongoing conversation without any hesitation.

Lmao!! Great moments.

In the episode Misteaks.

Becker receives a gift, Gourmet Montana Beef stakes, 8 of them after his huge dramatic experience with the delivery guy.

He thinks its a mistake and frustrated that he received it by mistake and now he has to spend hours on the phone to explain and return it. But then Margaret points out, no!! its from Mr.Owens thanking you for taking good care of his wife, they are yours!

Finally Becker is happy hearing that and laughs.

So everyone at the diner, so something good happened to you, how does that make you feel Becker?

Before he could answer that, everyone based on their personality comes up with how Becker felt.

Chris: Soo somebody sent you stakes, sounds like a good thing but I imagine, to you it won't be.

Becker: No its a mistake, I didn't order these, now Im gonna have to get on the phone and spend hours to straighten this whole thing out.

Margaret: NOOO you dont!

Becker: Yeah you're right, you'd do it!

Margaret: Nooo!! I mean, these stakes are yours! They are from Mr.Owens thanking you for taking such good care of his wife.

Becker : ehhey...huh...haha Look at that..wow good...I feel sooo...

Chris: Happy!??

Jake: Touched!??

Regi: Grateful??

Bob: Pretty???

Everyone stares at Bob...Bob goes, never mind!! hahahahha

This is so funny and brilliant that they bring out every character's personality based on what they said. Genius writing.

Too bad this show is underrated, it is not even found anywhere, its as if they erased this show from the history.

I wonder if Dave Hackel comes on here and reads this and hopefully come up with another sitcom.

When Becker saves the life of a woman and he convinced she's stalking him. Turns out she is a nun. He sees her at the restaurant with Jake & Chris and unloads. When he realises she's a nun, he becomes apologetic and tries to make it right, which of course makes it all the worse. He walks back to the table and there's a few seconds of awkward silence. Jake then breaks it with "Smoooooooth"!

Just watched the episode the 100th

Where Linda called up a radio station to enter a competition.

Linda got through on the air and says "I want to give a shout out to Miss YYYY YYYY, Your test results are back and it's a yeast infection"
