Second Thoughts - more enjoyable than LOTR?
I have seen a lot of LOTR and am fascinated by The Hobbit.... but I keep coming back to this Ruslan y Ludmila film. . . .
watching LOTR I feel like I'm going to church or something. It's a lecture. It's bloody, it's gory, it's weight bears down on you like some kind of hammer. It's fascinating but it's not exactly uplifting.
Ruslan and Ludmila - it is different. It is fantastical, it has a bit of the whimsy. And, hold your breath, there are -actually women in it-. It is weird and wonderful, like something from another world.
Well, it is.. it's 40 years old from a country that doesn't exist anymore during a cold war that most kids don't know the name of.
