She always pissed me off, it wasn't enough she kept Halloween in its entirety from her kids, never mind that it would have NOTHING to do with Halloweentown or their powers whatsoever, but also that she wouldn't even let them eat the candy Aggie brought them, and instead stuffs herself on it, what was that, 30 wrappers on the table AFTER she put it all away?

I thought it was super annoying that she wouldn't let them at least go trick-or-treating since, as you said, it's not like that had anything to to with their powers or Halloweentown.
