What if Gwen had gotten her way?

Lets say Kalabar didnt exist and they made it back home witout trouble, ((yes I know. It would be one hell of a boring movie) and Gwen still refused to let Marnie "become" a witch, casusing Marnie to lose her powers forever.
What do you think their relationship would be like?

I think it would be espcially bad since Marnie was only 13. It´s not like she can move out any time soon, and she is becoming a teenager. Something that is streesfull and hard enough on it`s own.

Alternatively, what would happen if Marnie found out she had been lied to etc, when she was say 18?

I think they would have a very turbulent relationship. Marnie would rebel as much as possible and move out ASAP and potentially never speak to her mom again.

She would probably shoot her mom.

And it is possible to move out at 13, if you're resourceful and determined enough.

Ever see Ghost Whisperer? The relationship between mother daughter is bad because the mother ignored the fact of talking to spirits. I see it being the same if they mother got her way of ignoring being a witch.

Look at Bewitched? It was the opposite with the daughter wanting to leave being a witch behind. The mother was always butting in due to this. I love the show by the way.
