A Look At Romero

I enjoyed this documentary very much. It helps that the subject is one of my favorite directors. I'm willing to bet no one will post here for a while, but when they do.....

How do the versions differ and which one is your favorite? Do any of them have less of that campy stupid humor Romero threw in there?

I actually saw it yesterday on IFC.

I believe the "European" Dario Argento cut would be what you are looking for. A sleeker, slightly shorter, more straight forward horror movie than the "Theatrical" version. Unfortunately there are a few great scenes cut out, so it is not a perfect version by any means. But if you hate the chessy campy music Romero uses and prefer more bizarre horror music (Ie. more Goblin) the the European version is for you.

Now I actually own the Ultimate Edition and have seen all three versions I enjoyed the European version very much, but the theatrical cut has really grown on me. It's my favorite. However, I really don't like the extended cut.
