reference to Wuthering Heights?

Until seeing this show mentioned in a post for Disney's The Great Mouse Detective, the only time I have come into contact with the name "Heathcliff" was from the literary classic Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. So I was wondering if there is any connection between the Heathcliff of this tv show and the Heathciff of Wuthering Heights.

Ha, i've been rereading Wuthering Heights this week.

And i'd say at the very bare bones both characters seem to make other characters lives miserable (but in very different ways), but aside from that other than the creator probably liked the name, i wouldn't compare the two more than that.

Gamefaqs has a far worse population than IMDB
