embarassment

My first knowledge of happy days came from that videoclip by weezer (it was part of a windows 95 cd rom)... and this show....

I was quite embarassed when I asked my mom 'the Fonz, in happy days, was he that guy who could make things happen when he snapped his fingers?'...

She said 'no? that was just a cool guy! where on earth did you get that?'

I was also surprised to learn that, unlike in this cartoon, fonz is not the main character in the original happy days (he was perhaps the most popular but basically ron howard's character was the main character right?)

I think there is no better way to mess up a classic. You bring in supernatural powers, a 'fun bunch' and time travels and you go on an adventure?
why did the actors agree to work along on this?

Erm... because it was a cartoon show for kids you dip$h1t!!!

Your first introduction to Happy Days being the Buddy Holly video by weezer says it all really!!

Why not comment on subjects you know a little about...

Wow, chill out!
Can I help it that I also really was a kid when I watched it?? And that Happy Days wasn't really broadcast in Belgium at that time.
All I know is that even as a kid I hated this.

I watched this as a kid and enjoyed it. There was alot worse programs that I'd forgotten about had to rack my brains to remember. At least this one made an impression! But then I am a Doctor Who fan and there is some similarities there, Time Machine anyone.

This version of Happy Days is *beep*-end of story. The Family Guy creator even says so.

reply

Well, if Seth MacFarlane said so it must be true *Note the sarcasm*

Watch an episode without the fog of nostalgia, and you'll see what he means.
