one of my faves

I remember watching this when I was a kid, on the Saturday mornings...I say release it on the dvd.

Me too,and thought the concept was cool of animating our beloved favourites from Happy Days. It's just too bad that Potsie wasn't featured in it,but it's possible that Anson Williams(Potsie)was approached about doing the voice for his character & didn't want anything to do with it.The irony here is that both Ron Howard(Richie)& Donny Most(Ralph)left Happy Days during the same 1980-81 season that this cartoon debuted on ABC during Saturday mornings.

Richie and Ralph leaving Happy Days and Potsie staying fairly means that Williams wasn't asked to join the animated cast.

And really, Potsie wouldn't have added anything to the narrative. The formula is that Fonz, Mr. Cool and the damsel quest for whatever in the A-storyline while Richie, Ralph and Cupcake get into trouble in the B-storyline. (Oftentimes accidentally enlisting in the Royal Canadian Mounties of the Roman Legion.)

Ralph panics. Richie tries to be sensible, and also throws out the bucko line. Cupcake messes everything up with her magic. There is not really any room for Potsie.

(Did you see everyone in the Gary Marshall memorial episode of the recent Odd Couple series?)
