I saw it back in eighth grade, but I remember the first time watching it was almost 10 years ago in grade 5. Many people I know grew up watching Bill Nye and getting involved and interested in Science, I can honestly say that his show positively affected a generation of young scientists.

My 8th grade Science class would watch Bill all the time. I had seen every episode before we would watch it but I didn't mind watching them over again. This show was the reason I became really interested in science. Although that sounds kinda cheesy.

My favorite episode was one I watched in 7th grade about how flowers reproduce. It had Drew Barrymore in it. I loved Bill Nye! He tottally beat Mr. Wizard.

Yeah, I did. Crap, though I forgot which years I watched it in. From 5th Grade I'm sure. Now that I think about it..it probably would've been really really boring if I wasn't watching it in school because in class it was pretty entertaining and it also was a good time to sleep. The Theme song was a great theme song.. I'm sure they played it at the ending credits which was my alarm clock to get up.

We watched it throughout high school and to my delight, we watched it just last week at my university in astronomy lecture, we watched the episode on lights. Brings back memories:)

My class in 5th grade watched an episode every week in Science class (pertaining to whatever it was we were talking about). I also watched it throughout middle school. I was really bad at science and still am and this show really helped me to understand it more.

I've watched at least one Bill Nye tape every year since probably fourth grade. So five years now. I watched it in PBS before then, or whatever channel it was on. It's one of my favorite shows. Because its so dorky. I love it.

I saw it in eigth grade. It was kinda funny because the whole class, myself included, thought that BNtSG was too childish to be anywhere near funny or educational. Y'knnow, because we were all like "oh, we're too old for this sh*t!" and being stupid kids and whatnot.

We were wrong. Very wrong. I could not stop laughing during the musical sequence at the end.

Every couple of weeks, we watch Bill Nye the Science Guy in science class and have to take notes. I take simple notes that characters make up in the movie. Like there'd be an episode where a character who's named Joe says "I like pizza" and I'd write "Joe likes pizza". It's fun. It's also fun because if the science teacher says that you're not taking scientific notes, you can say "hey, all you asked for was notes from the movie." I haven't got caught yet.

I love the show.

"Is the hot tea hot or cold?"
"Is the tea iced tea?"
"No, it's HOT tea!"
"Then I have no idea!"
