This movie never got a chance

The filmmakers son is a good friend of mine. This is another in a long list of examples of the studios *beep* up the vision. HE delieverd the cut. Which was getting good marks amongst all who had seen it. The studio took it. Didnt allow anyone involved including the GADDOMNED WRITER/DIRECTOR to have anything to do with the post production and recut it in the editing thus butchering it. The COMPLETE version has NEVER been seen in an public medium. But its almost a 100 percent completly different movie.

I just ordered this film off ebay, as i am trying to gather as much Dennis Hopper work as I possibly can. I haven't watched the film yet however it is disappointing to hear about this.

Your right about studios messing up vision, they completely butcher everything. Look at this post from an apparent editor who worked on a low-budget film called the Last Hour. The film had a great story with big named actors and the pricks in post production butchered the entire movie because they basically felt like it.
