i noticed in the comments section that somebody mentioned that at least Season 1 was available on DVD....does anybody know where I could find that?

From Deanacles (not Damacles or Hamacles!),

Yes, the first six episodes (the entire first season) has been released on DVD by Koch Entertainment Inc. It is listed as 'SAL-DV-4518' I found my copy at Music World, so I'm sure it is generally available if you look around.
