Really pretentious tagline

"There are movies that define every decade...1960's - THE GRADUATE, 1970's - SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER, 1980's - THE BREAKFAST CLUB, 1990's - BODY SHOTS".
Couldn't get over how pompous that statement was. Body Shots??? - Gimme a
F-cking break.

This is half a movie. There’s no third act. It ends with a kiss between Amanda Peet and the Rick character in a relationship that was introduced 3 minutes from the ending. We get some bullshit about “sex isn’t dangerous but love is, because love makes you vulnerable,” coming from someone who does not seem to have a vulnerable gene in his body. I think the screenwriter was stuck for a conclusion. He opened a fortune cookie and wrote what he found inside. Don’t waste your time on this movie.

By the way, there is no apostrophe in a plural noun for a decade; so 1970 and NOT 1970’s. Read The Chicago Manual of Style. The OP is right that the author of the tag line was a moron.
