Solaris reference
Not exactly sure how it fitted into the movie, but it was nice to see a nod towards a Tarkovsky movie (which at the time had never even been released in Australia, as far as I am aware.)

shareSurely the original Solaris (1972) (i.e. not the remake) must have been out in Australia by then, though? In some form, even if (perhaps) it never played in theatres.
The book Solaris {1961} is by Stanislaw Lem, One of the great minds of the twentieth century ,Both the films are not the story Lem wrote,{Tarsoky lost the plot with his own agenda]Steven Soderberg may he burn in the hottest part of hell, {if that bible stuff was real !}
