The final midnight romp led by Lisa was completely unnecessary, in fact I'd say it was tacked on, shamelessly.

Just watched it for the first time, completely agree.

I wonder if Jolie's character had gained so much traction through the filming that they wanted to squeeze another big scene out of her?

Movies and books have different storytelling conventions. 

All these people whining about "disrespect" are getting on my nerves.
