Man and woman at window

Some time ago I was zapping and got a couple of minutes of film a with a gloomy atmosphere just like End of the Affair. There was a woman by a window standing on a stool, behind her was a man who lifted her skirt and was passionately pawing her buttocks and she said nothing, yet both looked melancholic; then I had to go and that’s all. I though it would have been this film. Anyone knows?
