i love the addams family! unfortuneatly ive not seen many episodes of the old tv show dose any one know if its on any chanels in england??

my main problem with this series was.............well in the 1960's series and the films they worked so hard building up the right image for the family kind strange but loveable in that they do allways try to do the right thing.

and the sets,props and costumes should all be either black, dark purple or very dsrk green (keeping in tone with the atmosphere) but in this show they just had like normal stuff and it dident look right at all it could of been so much better if they had just changed litte things like that

They tried to modernize everything. Plus, you gotta consider, the originally was in black and white, this is color, all the dark colored clothes wouldn't look right.

I thought it wasn't bad. It was pretty funny at times, but it's definately pretty rememberable.

I DID see the set of the original 1960's Addams Family in color and the livingroom is actually RED, not dark or gray like most people think, it looks to be that old satin victorian wallpaper with velvet flowers that stand out.

Honestly I thought this new series was a lot darker than the old one. If you ever saw the 1977 Halloween with the Addams Family, *it was a follow up to the original series* their house is actually really nice and elegant looking and had normal color, it was not at all, all black and dark.

Question your prejudices.
