how does it connects to preview ones?

Well, three and a half years later, I found a connection. There's a scene where they find a map with a pentagram drawn on it with blood. Each of the five points has a name written by it. Jim Norman and Jon Porter are two of the names, and they were the main characters of the first 2 movies. Weak, but it's there.
