who actually liked this movie. Comparing this to the first movie, this was better because the first one always scared me. Is there anybody here that actually liked this movie?

I liked this movie a lot when I was little. I'd always sing the songs. How come no one likes this movie? The first one was weird and creepy in my opinion.

When I was younger I remember loving this movie. I haven't seen it in ages, but I never disliked it.
sharePersonally, this one isn't too bad, but I prefer the first one. Without Don Bluth, this picture just doesn't quite cut it. Add a little traditional animation, nix a few of the songs, and lose the 'Disney cuteness', and let Bluth work his magic, this one one might have had potential to be a great sequal.

Storywise, the film had a few interesting elements but much of the plot was standard DTV stuff made by Disney. The Lost 6 and Martin turning evil was cool though. I'm rather suprised that they didn't bother to bring back the magic stone into this film. It would've made the film more interesting to watch despite the terrible animation and the even moreso terrible script. The talking cats have nothing on Dragon from the first film. They should've been taken out.

shareThis was my favorite movie when I was little!!!!! Of course, I saw this one first, and I loved all the songs in it. The only thing that creeped me out were the cats and the brother turning evil. Overall it was i guess an average kids movie, but for some reason I liked it alot.
shareIt does not measure up the first one to me, and I think it was rather poorly executed, but I did think it had some cool ideas. Particularly Martin's turn as the villain. It was dark and twisted, fitting of the first film.
shareI watched both movies around the same time when I was 6-7 (out of order), but even back then, I enjoyed the 1st film a LOT more! XD
I couldn't tell if it was the dark atmosphere, or the pretty animation, but either way it was still better than this movie.

The tone is waaaaay better in the first film. It's so corny and cheesy in this film. This can join the Land Before Time 10 movies.
