Do they kill the woman and the man in the bar?

I know that when the hit men question the lady in the bar and the drunk guy and they know they are lying -- they cut away to the next scene. Are we to believe tha they killed them both?

I am assuming they did because that would explain why she tells Betty in an earlier scene that she had been to Rome and the cafe in the piazza and that her life was complete or something like that.

Maybe somebody has the answer to this question that has been bugging me.

Yes Yes Me me

The barlady talks weird like that just to give a hint that Betty might be knowingly living a different lifestyle than she had before and might have to change her lifestyle right over again.

(Like maybe the barlady did - if it wasnt just a holiday she'd had in Europe).

Just a hint that Betty might be knowingly wishfulfilling in all this effort to be amongst doctor's and nurses in an intelligent caring environment in her life.

They didn't kill them. At the end, we see the woman watching Betty on TV in her role on the soap.

Plus, they aren't really violent sociopaths - they are killers, but I think they want to keep their profiles low so they only kill people they have to.

I'm quite a lovely person - apart from my terrible taste in pie.

I didn't see the woman from the bar at the end. We see a large group of people in the cafe where Betty used to work, we see her friend at home, we see Rosa and Roy in Los Angeles, but we don't see the woman or man from the bar in Arizona. So, we don't know if the hit men killed them or not.
