Milos Forman

Anyone else think this casting was kind of bizarre?
I enjoyed him but I wonder how he ended up in it. I don't even think Milos is a Catholic which I originally thought his casting might be a nod to. Anyway it was a really strange bit of casting but it definitely worked. He was very effective and entertaining in his brief cameo.
Why didn't he show up at the inter-faith party at the end though? He must have been too busy dreaming about his mother's sausages.

Edward Norton had worked with Forman on Larry Flynt and as the director, he possibly asked Forman to be in the movie. Also Milos was acting - it doesn't matter if he is Catholic or not!

Langella, Winslet, Ledger, Henson

Yes Milos was acting but he's not an actor so casting a non actor as a Priest is still bizarre and the question of it mattering whether he is a Catholic or not was never raised.
Yeesh. Talk about reactionary.
