Opening Music

Can anyone tell me what the cool downtempo music is at the movies beginning, as Hawke does the "I have of late, wherefore I know not, lost all my mirth" voiceover?

reply

I don't know about the opening song, but i would also like to know the title.

As well as two other songs. The one at the airport when Hamlet comes back and the one in the Darkroom where Hamlet meets Ophelia and Polonius comes in with balloons.

See you around folks and thanks if you know any of these songs...

The music at the airport when Hamlet returns is by "Accelera Deck" and the track is called "Greentone". It is also played during the end credits. The track is taken from their ยด98 album "Narcotic Beats" and is also featured on the "Hamlet" soundtrack cd.

This might be a long shot, but do any of you have the song Greentone uploaded that you could send me? I've tried to find it everywhere :( You can't even buy it on iTunes or anything and I'm hoping to use it for a film project.
If any of you could help I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks xxx

I would also like to know the title of the scene in the Darkroom where Hamlet meets Ophelia and Polonius comes in with balloons; then we see the Videotape of Hamlet (to be or not to be) and then he is at the Denmark Corporation and Polonius comes to talk to him. This theme is repeated later, during the flight scene, when Hamlet walks through the airplane, going to the toilet.
It's definately not on the Soundtack. I've checked it. Often. Very often. - So, does anyone have an idea. I just love this song.
Thanx.

Darkroom scene - 'Moontide' by O'Neill
it is on the soundtrack (not the score) to the film.
There is also a downtempo guitar song called 'Darkroom' on the score.

'Big Calm' by Morcheeba. It's on the soundtrack to the film.
