horrible boom-mic gaff

In Gertrude's bedroom after Hamlet kills the guy, there's a reflection of a boom mic in the mirror. And it lingers on it for like 30 seconds! One of the worst, most glaring boom-mic mistakes I've ever seen. Why did they leave that shot in? Or at least cut away earlier?
