Cast's age. Taja was played by an 18 year old?!?!

I always thought the actress was mid 20s. I guess that's what a mature acting woman with short hair can do to a role.

I did think she looked too young to have been friends with the 30 something thief in the finale episodes. They appeared to have been written as old friends, which is possible, I guess people are friends with older people, but it seemed a little off to me.

By contrast, Siro was played by a 32 year old. He looked more like 40.

Kung Lao was played by a 25 year old. That seems about right.

I know nothing about this show because I remember it getting pretty terrible reviews and the clips I saw made it look very cheap, but I do like Mortal Kombat so I clicked on your post.

So made me curious so I looked the girl up. You're right, she doesn't look 18 at all. You could tell me she was 30 and I'd believe you.

The show was actually pretty good and had an amazing finale that some call the best tv finale ever.

I watched it around the year 2000 on tv and have it on DVD. It still stands up except for the CGI shots of the villages they use. Besides that, a decent TV show. If you like choreographed martial arts fighting and bad guys with leather clad sexy chicks, this is for you.
