On the first of GSN's back-to-back reruns of the show yesterday afternoon, there was a 20-year-old divorcee who shared the same name with one of the over 350 Pokémon in the video game and TV show--Tangela!

Strange...but consider it stranger that Onyx (rock type Pokémon) is a real word.

Hmm...are there any fans of the Chuck Woolery show who also are those of Pokémon? Hope so.

How is it strange that a 'rock type' pokemon would be named after a gem-stone?

I can't help but laugh at the "Onyx" comment by tth0r. I totally agree with this and thought the same thing as the word "Onyx" IS a form of quartz and has been around a heck of a lot longer than stupid Pokemon has!! LOL! The original post had to have been from a juvenile.
