there is no way that this show was not fixed, Any comments from anybody that thinks it also was?

Fixed in what way? Can you provide examples? My friend was on it back in 1985.

Stimpy35 - was your friend an actor? Did the show pick the person they went on a date with or was it suggested they pick a certain person? What did your friend have to say about the show? Good experience?

My friend is not an actor. She said that the man picked her from three (3) videos he saw and revealed her as his choice on the show. She continued to date him for several months following too. She said it was a lot of fun going on the show and it wasn't fixed according to her experience.

Yes it was, I worked on the show for 9 years,it was all written by writers after an interview. when chuck asked if they wanted another date at the end they had to say what they were told to say! we had a script to go by, by the way
Chuck wasn't the nice guy he seems to be!

I was on the show and can confirm it was not fixed at all.

I do remember back in the early 90s, a woman went on E! News to talk about her experience and she revealed that her and her date revelations presented on the show were scripted and an actual date did not happen. It would not surprise me if much of the show was scripted.

Well, this thread has certainly gotten confusing; there are equal amounts of people claiming the show is fixed versus not fixed. It seems like nobody can agree on the truth. And both sets of people say they know for sure, from experience!
