I know this is going to sound stupid because he was the good guy, but I used to be afraid of the giant robot when I was a kid. I would have no problem with the monsters he faced, but that combo of giant robot meets King Tut meets the Tin Man gave me nightmares!

shareI definitely wasn't afraid because, as you said, he was with the good guys, but I remembering being absolutely AWED when Johnny called him and he went into action...I seem to remember scaffolding next to where he "slept", and shooting finger rockets...I've been sitting on these DVDs a while, I'm getting very close to watching...I just absolutely held this show in awe, when I was around 5-6.
