Do you feel Johnny and Marie eventually wed?

It would have been real cool to see a in character reunion to see what happened to GR and the characters...but with the young boy who played Johnny having passed away that just won't happen. But IA...I would like to think they got married and Jerry took over as the commander of Unicorn Japan.
