Colin Farrell's best role

Just wanted to say that this is Colin Farrell's best role. Looking back at the films he has been in, almost every one of them has sucked. Not necessarily the movie, but at least his acting. Havent seen Alexander or A home at the end of the world though.

Id have to admit that this would probably be his best role. In my opinion his acting really shone through. Alexander sucked big time. But he was also quite good in phone booth.

I haven't watch Tigerland but you should try "A Home At The End Of The World" and "Phone Booth". Wow!!! Daredevil also not bad.

Check him out in a bit part in Ordinary Decent Criminal. Cool stuff. I loved the movie, but that's because I have a fondness for British crime capers.

OK it's nice that you like British crime capers, but what I don't understand is what the hell that has to do with Ordinary decent criminals which is about an Irish criminal in the Republic of Ireland, Dumbass

Not that it was his best role but he played a pretty cool (but not major)part in a pretty low budget irish movie called Intermission, also starring cillian murphy (who's 28 days later, play scarecrow in Batman Begins, red eye).

And? It's a genre, genius. ODC is a part of that genre, whether it happens south or north of the border.

tigerland (a combination of cool hand luke and one flew over the cuckoos nest)

in bruges (won the GG deserved an oscar nom)

phone booth (kept us watching while playing a creep)

minority report (his confidence is frightening)

miami vice (a masterful quiet performance)

triage (his most underrated sad work)

pride and glory (deniro style extreme dark performance)

ondine (incredibly charismatic and romantic)

Yes, he's great in In Bruges, and that's a great movie.

Seven Psychopaths was very poor imo

but the walken /woody hospital scene
was the best of its kind since
dennis hopper and walken met in True.Romance

In Bruges is one of my all time favourite movies and CF best roles.
Let me just add the following titles to your list:

* Intermission
* Cassandra's Dream
* The Way Back
* The New World
* London boulevard
* Seven Psychopaths
* A Home at the End of the World

Colin had many great performances in his early days. This one is one of my favourites. He is really a f.in amazing actor in the right context. This movie would have been pretty boring, but CF really made it entrancing.
Loved him in At Home at the End of the World, In Bruges.
I wish he'd focus on awesome roles.

***So I've seen 4 movies/wk in theatre for a 1/4 century, call me crazy?**

Colin Farrell = Captain Cheese...not a fan of his work.

It’s a blistering entrance to Hollywood, he’s phenomenal in this.

Keanu Reeves is a bad actor with a great agent. Farrell is a great actor with a terrible agent. He’s been in so many failures but he’s always good and often a stand-out. He’s actually got the star power, intelligence, mischievousness and testosterone to be another Robert Downey Jr if he could get the right roles.

His only unforgivable sin was doing Total Remake.
