Out of all of Joel's films I've seen, this is the best he's ever done. By far.

I haven't seen all of his movies, but as for now, Tigerland included, i would say Phone Booth is his best movie. Awesome little thriller and Kiefer and his voice did a terrific job in it. Since 24, he is simply da man for me. "Loved" The Sentinel just because of him too.

Anyway, Phone Booth. Plus it has Forest Whitaker. 'Nough said.

Oh, seems like i had never heard of Lost Boys... Plus it has Sutherland in it. One more movie in my watchlist. *sigh*

Phantom for me also. In regards to The lost Boys, the only other vampire movies I didn't care for compared to that are Vamp and Fright Night 2.

I have not seen Tigerland but i ordered it on DVD 2 days ago, so at the moment i would say Phone Booth, did not really like The Lost Boys.

Tigerland, while a great movie, is not schumacher's best. IMO its Falling Down. That movie was awesome.

just kidding. can't believe the same guy who made b&r and phonebooth made this. sometimes schumacher pulls one out of the hat sometimes he just indulges in the crotch shots.

My vote is on Falling Down. Phone Booth was a pretty slick little thing, but other than that, Schumacher doesnt do it for me.

I think so. I also enjoyed Falling Down and Phone Booth a lot, but this is by far his best flick.

yes, tigerland is by far his best movie, and its sad that it is so unknown, i hadn't even heared of it, but when i saw the DVD for 8 bucks, i figured what the hell, and after watching it i must say that this is one of the best films in the last 10 years

Tigerland was an excellent movie, especially for the low price I paid for the DVD. However, I think that 8MM is his best film.

I think this is easily his best film. Crimson Tide and Falling Down are his other great movies. True Romance is good. It contains two great supporting performances from Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken. It also features Christian Slater's very very very best performance. Man On Fire was also very very good.

A Time To Kill...I don't remember too well. But it was solid. Phone Booth was good and contained great work from Colin.

Crimson Tide and True Romance are both Tont Scott movies and both are great.
Man on fire I haven't seen but is also Schumacher

Oops...I got this idea somewhere that Man on Fire was a Schumacher film and, in a review, I heard the director compare his other great films(According to him): True Romance and Crimson Tide.

If all I wanted was to be entertained then I'd pick The Lost Boys ahead of this; but as far as 'technical proficiency' and 'things to think about' and so forth, then Tigerland is my winner (just ahead of Phone Booth and A Time to Kill. )

Honestly, I initially wanted to see it cuz Colin(and his parts)were in it, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Being a chick, I usually don't respond to war dramas and such, but it really good. A solid, profound performance by Colin as well as the rest of the cast. I definitely think it was one of Joel's best movies. I lost mad respect for him after I read he directed that completely sh*tty Batman and Robin! I redeemed himself a little with Tigerland, though.
