VHS sleeve flap?

Hi. I'm a VHS collector with a copy of this film. Recently I noticed, there are 2 slits in the center of the corner edges of the front of the sleeve (similar to the one on the right side of copies of Doom Generation), where a tab for a flap would lock in. It maybe was an aletrnate cover that removes completely, since there is a slit on each side of the front corners edges. ?

Anyway, if anyone out there understands this discription, and has any clue what's up with these slits, I'd love to know what I'm looking for, to have a "complete" copy.

Thanks!

This isn't really an answer to your question, but I also noticed -- like you -- that The Doom Generation (one of my alltime favs) has a similar flap. So cool.

Yes, that's it exactly. The inside art is the "big woman" image, but the top cover (which would slip into those tabs) matches the original film poster.
