A Men Behaving Badly ripoff!

Man, I really do like this show, but honestly.. isn't C/O Segemyhr SOMEWHAT too similar to the magnificent british sitcom MEN BEHAVING BADLY?

* Fredrik Segemyhr, a stiff, middle aged man with serious emotional problems. Incapable of maintaining his feeble relationship with Cilla (just like Gary relates to Dorothy in MBB). Fredrik IS Gary in a way, even though Gary is less of a loser. Still, the main character is strikingly similar in manners and even in physique.

* Jan-Olof.. Ex-hippie type of guy, a ladies man, somewhat immoral but still a "good" character. Just a pig. Immature, no real career, tends to just drift along. Fredriks best (and only?) friend. Again, this is just like the MBB counterpart Tony.

* Cecilia 'Cilla'. She even has the same job as Dorothy, she's a nurse! A somewhat overweight female being dragged down by a loser boyfriend (Fredrik/Gary). Doubtful about their relationship.

And yeah, they all live in the same flat! Although I'd say that the show isn't entirely the same in terms of plot development and such, but the characters are just too damn similar. Both are good shows though. I highly recommend both (for comparison as well as the sheer enjoyment).
