I've missed this show terribly since Food TV stopped airing it years ago. It's so uncool, it's cool. I hope a whole new group of people will discover it and insure its slot in cult TV history. Those old gals can really trill their "R"'s!

Grrrrrab that crrrrab, Clarissa!

I love the Two Fat Ladies!! I actually have one of their cookbooks (somewhere!). I had pretty much forgotten about them since it's been so long ago that their show was being aired. I think Jennifer died in 1999, and I wonder what Clarissa is up to these days.

I honestly wouldn't eat most of what they cooked, but it was interesting to see the places they traveled to, and I loved the way they interacted with each other. Plus, they made old traditional dishes that included lard, "streaky bacon", full cream and lots of other fattening goodies that you don't see much of anymore.

This is probably one of my all time favorite cooking shows, and it's fun to see the episodes again.

Sadly, she passed in 2014.

Clarissa had her own series "Clarissa and the Countryman" after Jennifer's passing.
It was un "pc" and at times controversial. In the UK at least.
